This week we’re sharing two cool end-of-year openings, a round up of our favorite coolstuff.nyc articles, and announcing a super fun event for paying subscribers!
Cecily
Greenpoint’s newest produce-forward restaurant, Cecily, is now open. Opened by alums of Michelin-starred spots like Estela and The Four Horsemen, Cecily’s tight menu focuses on the type of small plates perfect for sharing over a New Year’s catch-up (Think dishes like porcini “chicharrones.”) Open at 80 Franklin St Thursdays-Mondays.
Corners
Located in one of our favorite Catskills towns, Livingston Manor, Corners is the new art & design store by David McGillivray of loungewear brand Offhours and Rebecca Zhou of skincare phenom Soft Services. After making the move to upstate full time, the pair transformed a midcentury retail space into something beautiful to offer a curated selection of books, paper goods, design objects, and magazines. Check it out on your next trip just a few hours north!
